The Worst Christmas Gifts

Christmas is a time for giving and receiving. The “receiving” part is often an aspect that is highly looked forward to, whether people are too proud to admit it or not. However, nothing is more awkward than opening a present, seeing something awful, and then plastering on a fake smile and trying your best to tell them how much you love that gift.

“How do I avoid putting someone else in this situation?” you may ask. For your benefit, I have compiled a list of the things to avoid when shopping for a loved one.

-Anything with minions on it. They aren’t cute. They are demons and that kind of stuff shouldn’t be part of the celebration of the birth of Christ.
-Try to avoid lotion for women. They will receive that from every other person who doesn’t know what to get them.
-Candles, for the same reason as lotion.
-Calendar…for 2016
-Don’t buy pets for people if you know they aren’t going to take care of them
-A math textbook
-Selfie stick
-Non-wireless headphones for someone with an iPhone 7
-Nickelback CD
-Any CD
-“1000 ways to Cook Steak” for a Vegetarian
-Year long subscription to the Jelly of the Month

The goes on and on, but these are a few of the big things to avoid.

If you are totally blanking on what to get that loved one, remember that money and chocolate never fail.
